Delete your Mimora account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time — in the app, or right here on the web without installing anything. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

In the Android app

  1. Open Mimora, tap the ⚙ icon at the top right, then “Settings & account”.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”.
  3. Read what will happen, type DELETE, and tap “Delete permanently”.

On the web (no app needed)

Sign in with the email and password of the account you want to delete, type DELETE, and confirm. Your password is sent only to our sign-in provider, never stored by this page.

Signed in with Google or Discord?

Accounts created with Google or Discord have no password yet. Enter your email above and we will send you a link to set one; then come back and sign in here.

What is deleted

  • Once account deletion completes, AI-content reports linked to your account are removed from Mimora’s private report queue. Separate billing and provider operational records may be retained under applicable obligations and provider policies.
  • Your private transcripts, imported document text, recordings and uploaded original audio or video files.
  • Your sign-in account (email address and login).
  • Your profile and settings.
  • Saved words, grammar and sentences, and their review history and schedule.
  • Learning records and progress: studied videos, video review projects, daily statistics and your learning profile.
  • Everything synced between your devices, and the list of those devices.
  • Records of your AI use, and the billing records Mimora holds about you (plan, subscription status, Google Play and Lifetime purchase records).

What is kept, and why

  • Payment records held by Stripe and Google Play. They process payments, not Mimora, and keep transaction records as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Analytics and diagnostic events already sent, if you had them on. They carry a random or hashed identifier rather than your name or email, and expire on the providers’ normal schedule.
  • Recovery copies, if maintained, are separately retained for recovery and are not used to reactivate a deleted account.
  • Data stored only on your own devices. Deleting in the Android app also clears that device; the Chrome extension keeps its local copy until you remove the extension or clear its data.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • A subscription bought on the Mimora website (Stripe) is canceled at the moment you delete, and nothing more is charged.
  • A Google Play subscription is stopped from renewing at the moment you delete, and nothing more is charged.
  • Amounts already paid, including a Lifetime pass, are not refunded by deleting. Uninstalling the app on its own does not cancel anything — deleting the account does.

Afterwards

  • You are signed out everywhere, and the account can no longer be used.
  • You can create a new account with the same email later; it starts empty.
